Pricing
Plans differ by daily API calls, catalogs, monitored products and alerts. Prices are in US dollars. A year costs 10 times the monthly price, so two months are free. Paid plans open soon; free keys are available now.

The free plan is opt-in
Every data endpoint needs a key; only the health check, key creation, the OpenAPI file and MCP discovery answer without one. To start on the free plan, create a key with your email:
curl -X POST https://api.recallsapi.com/v1/keys \
-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{"email": "you@example.com"}'
The key is sent to that address, and only there. One free account per inbox. See the quickstart.
How usage is counted
- Each REST call and each MCP tool call counts as one call.
POST /v1/check/batchcounts one call per product. - Uploading catalog items counts as one call per request, whatever the number of rows (up to 5,000).
GET /v1/accountand the billing endpoints are not counted.POST /v1/keys,GET /v1/healthand MCPinitializeandtools/listneed no key.- Daily quotas reset at 00:00 UTC. Metered responses carry
x-ratelimit-limitandx-ratelimit-usedheaders; past the limit the API answers429 quota_exceeded. - Catalog and item limits answer
402 plan_limitwhen an upload would go over them.
Billing
Paid plans open soon. They are subscriptions sold by PrimeZen LLC and billed by card through Stripe. Once they open, upgrade from the dashboard, or POST /v1/billing/checkout with {"plan": "growth", "interval": "month"} (plan starter, growth or scale; interval month or year) for a Stripe Checkout link. POST /v1/billing/portal opens the billing portal to change or cancel. When a subscription ends, the account goes back to the Free plan.
